It’s 2025; My Journey Begins Now 🌍✨

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

I had a lot of time for reflection and SELF-reflection and I will share my thoughts, plans, routines with you with all ‘as is’ rawness. I want to be truly and sometimes painfully genuine and honest. Apart from that, I am very protective of my family and my life so please don’t be upset that I’m keeping my blog faceless.

This blog is a space where I share the things I love most — travel, food, and self-care — woven together into a lifestyle that’s all about enjoying life, connecting with loved ones, and living with purpose.

✈️ Travel with purpose – Travel has been a great part of my life. I often joke with my husband that for me, that was the only requisite before our marriage – that he is willing to go with me anywhere, no matter the transportation, weather, destination (a test he passed with flying colours). I never shared my experiences with the world before, but as years and countries visited flew by, I kind of became really good at planning trips. Now I really want to share these experiences, not just because they are breathtaking, but because I want you to share them with your loved ones. And as it happens, this fullness will reflect on your family and will make your bond stronger and life happier. That’s what it did to us, anyway.

🍜 Food as connection – I believe food is one of the most powerful ways to experience a destination. Every dish tells a story about people, history, and culture. I also love cooking and can cook practically anything from scratch (meal prep is a huge pet peeve for me), so I tend to gravitate toward food-inspired experiences in my travels. I will keep returning to this, but a full table of your loved ones, sharing and tasting new dishes together, creates this amazing and fulfilling emotion.

🌸 Skincare as self-care – I used to be very unkind to my skin from my teens on. I took my perfect young complexion for granted and would rarely apply sunscreen (coconut oil doesn’t count), wouldn’t put make-up off right after a night of partying and wouldn’t drink a drop of water in a day. Things really changed following my skin concerns in my early 30ies – which I will discuss with you in detail, that led me to where I am now. Now no matter where I go and what I do, taking care of my skin is a way of grounding myself, a way of prioritizing myself in everyday. I see skincare as more than just routine; it’s a ritual that reminds me to pause, nurture, and recharge — especially when traveling.

This blog is where I’ll share stories, guides, reflections, and little discoveries — from hidden travel gems to food adventures and mindful self-care tips. In some posts I will add and disclose affiliate links, which may earn me a commission, but keep in mind that these are by no means sponsored posts or ads, just genuinely things I bought or would buy again, want to have or swear on.
